Twitter Password leak, makes them ask their 330 million-users to change their password.
Twitter said it discovered a bug that designed to encrypt users’ password which first exposed the passwords in plain text before the hash process began. The bug caused the password to store in an internal log without encryption before the hash process was complete.

Twitter did not mention how many users or passwords were affected. However, it is understood that the bug exposed the password for several months.
Twitter said that the bug is now fixed and all the plain-text passwords have removed from their systems. After an internal investigation, they found no passwords were stolen or misused.
Change Your Twitter Password
Even though this is an internal leak, but it recommended that you change your Twitter’s password. Who knows some of the insiders, or someone has a copy or downloaded log file? When choosing a password, ensure that you do not use your personal details such as name, birthday, mobile number, etc. To make the password stronger, include a range of number, capital letters and special character.
To change your Twitter password, go to twitter.com, click on the profile picture on the top-right side of the screen to open the menu. Then, click on Security and Privacy. Choose the Password section and input the current password in the first field. Also, enter the new password twice in the New Password and Verify Password and click save changes. Logout and login to your Twitter account with the new password.
Using Two-Factor Authentication
As a means to further increase security besides a password, many services including Twitter now offer what is called two-factor authentication. This adds another layer of security to an account by asking users each time they login to confirm it is them by entering a special code sent to their mobile phone or Apps.
